Amnesty International, the NGO International Film Festival, and the Sudan Democracy First Group invites you to join us for the A Solidarity and Fundraising Art Exhibition, commemorating the first anniversary of the onset of the conflict in Sudan.

This 2-part event promises a compelling program that will engage and inspire audiences to demand more global attention and action regarding the ongoing conflict, as well as justice and accountability for recent and past human rights violations and abuses in Sudan.

The event will commence with a panel discussion featuring Sudanese activists, civil society representatives, experts, and other practitioners. The discussion will be livestreamed on Zoom, with simultaneous interpretation available in Arabic, English, and French. If you are unable to attend the panel physically, register for the livestream.

Following the panel discussion, the in-person art exhibition will showcase the work and talent of Sudanese artists, musicians, and storytellers. Open to the public, the exhibition will provide an opportunity for fundraising through the sale of Sudanese artwork. The proceeds will be directed towards supporting organizations in Sudan aiding those impacted by the conflict. The event will culminate with an entertainment and open mic segment featuring Sudanese musicians and artists.
