Overview
Lest We Forget: Chapter II is a powerful survivor-centred magazine by Amnesty International Kenya that documents lived experiences of police brutality, extrajudicial killings, enforced disappearances, and life-altering injuries in Kenya. Through deeply personal testimonies from families, survivors, and witnesses, the magazine humanises statistics and restores dignity to those whose lives were violently disrupted by abuse of power.
This second chapter captures a painful snapshot of 2024–2025, amplifying voices often silenced — mothers, spouses, siblings, and young survivors — who continue to demand truth, accountability, and justice. Documented using a strict “do no harm” and survivor-led methodology, the stories reflect courage, resilience, and an unwavering call for reform.
Lest We Forget: Chapter II is both a memorial and a call to action — reminding us that behind every name is a life, a family, and a nation still waiting for justice.
